MEC Academy is a language & training centre in EduCity Iskandar, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. Inside a 305-acre education city of 7 international universities — including the University of Reading Malaysia — MEC is the only language academy, offering a genuine university-campus learning environment.
At its core is Philippine-style 1:1 intensive teaching. One-on-one, real-world speaking practice diagnoses each student's strengths and weaknesses and builds a tailored study plan. Group classes are capped at 3–8 students per teacher, keeping learning strictly Student-Centered.
Students from 7+ countries — including Korea, China and Japan — enrol 800–900 each year, and 2,800+ have studied at MEC to date. Four official accreditations and partnerships back that trust: Malaysia's MOE, Kangwon National University, an official IELTS test centre, and Paragon International School.
