Forest City Campus
A Classroom with the Sea in View
One of Malaysia's signature beachfront campuses — step out of the classroom and the beach is right there.
MEC Forest City Campus occupies half of the entire 3rd floor of Fisherman's Wharf, the landmark building at the heart of Forest City — a smart eco-city on the Johor coast. Classrooms look out over the sea toward Singapore, roughly 4km of beach wraps the district, and the whole island has been duty-free by government designation since 2024.

Beachfront campus
The beach is right in front of campus — after-class seaside walks, jogging and beach volleyball become routine, and a bar right on the sand adds a holiday feel to study life.
Water activities
Swim and sail a dinghy in the water right off campus. Sailing runs as a proper course with our partner academy — Friday afternoons for juniors, weekends for adults — and a large pool and a water park sit right next door.
Dedicated 1:1 classrooms
The strength of Philippine-style 1:1 intensives, intact — taught densely across 90 dedicated one-to-one classrooms.
A safe environment
The controlled access and security of a master-planned city — parents can send their children with confidence.
Duty-free island
Designated duty-free by the Malaysian government in 2024 — duty-free shops sit right downstairs in the same building.
Closest to Singapore
About 2km from the Second Link, with frequent buses to Singapore via Tuas. From the terminal two minutes across from the residence, buses to downtown Johor Bahru also leave hourly for RM 2–3.
Ideal for family programmes
Children in the junior programme, parents in adult 1:1 — afternoons together on the beach. In holiday seasons a junior reading club runs on weekday evenings (19:00–20:30), giving parents time of their own.
Fisherman's Wharf landmark
The academy occupies half of the entire 3rd floor of Fisherman's Wharf, Forest City's central landmark. Malay, Thai and Chinese restaurants, a convenience store and duty-free shops sit just downstairs.
Ocean-view study café
An in-academy study café where you can study or take a break looking out over the sea toward Singapore.
Championship golf nearby
Forest City Golf Resort and its Jack Nicklaus-designed courses sit close to the campus and residences — ideal for taking up golf.
After-school sports
A range of after-school sports is open to students, including swimming lessons (twice a week, 19:00 or 20:00), and the Reading & Homework Club runs on weekday evenings, 19:00–20:30.

1:1 like the Philippines, an environment beyond it
The biggest draw of studying in the Philippines is 1:1 intensive lessons. MEC Forest City keeps that advantage intact and adds what only Malaysia offers: a safe master-planned city, duty-free shopping and Singapore on your doorstep.
